Post up what you are eating with some idea of amounts. An outline of how active you are would help too.

well i usually have cereal eg branflakes or cornflakes with semi skimmed milk for breakfast ..for lunch i mite have veg soup or salad with a slice of wholmeal bread and fruit ..a typical evening meal would be grilled chicken or fish with veg ..i have the same size portions as i would give the children to eat
i go to the gym 3 times a week i use the cross trainer and rower for ten mins each and in between i do two sets of 12 reps on the weight machine for arms and legs ..then i do a half hour programme on the treadmill which varies the speed and incline ..i usually do 50 mins ab exercises with a dvd every other day...hope this is the info u need
    thanx

Ok, I can tell you right off that you have not nearly enough decent protein, probably not enough fat, and almost certainly too much refined carbs.

Cornflakes are not a good breakfast. They hit your blood steam as fast as table sugar so you get an insulin spike and then a crash which leaves you feeling hungry later. See if you can put some protein into your breakfast. Ideally, a couple of eggs, but even something like cottage cheese or natural yogurt would be better. If you must eat cereal, try porridge.

Your lunch is all carbs, no significant fat or protein. Why not open a tin of fish and eat it with a big salad or pile of vegetables? Lash on some dressing made with extra virgin olive oil.

Before your workout, you could snack on some wholegrain bread and/or fruit, some nice low-gi carbs would go down well them.

Chicken or fish and veg sounds good, but again, very low in healthy fats.

In the gym, it sounds like you are doing an awful lot of cardio and not a huge amount of weights. You don't have to lift hard every day, but you should do it sometimes. Try having a couple of days a week where you do squats, bench press, deadlifts, pull-ups, dips, military press, bent over rows, lunges, step-ups, wood choppers, hyper-extensions. Three sets of eight reps will leave you feeling wiped out, but should show results.

You are probably doing the DVD ab workout too often. Can you alternate it with something else?
