I could get Wexford to Belfast but not Wexford to Dublin for some reason.

You can't reverve Wexford to Dublin, but you should be able to get an un-reserved ticket.

Maynooth to Dublin is Commuter which I don't think is included in the offer. I think it's only Intercity services.

stupid question guys but how do i create an online account with irish rail?

i click on my account and thats for existing account holders. wheres the link for new customers to register?

  • Registered Users Posts: 815 ✭✭✭Quaderno

You will be asked to log into your account during the booking process (after step "seat reservation"). At that stage you can either use an existing account or create a new one. It is apparently not possible to create a new account without making a reservation.
BTW: I saved just about €26 today because of this thread. Thanks :D

I thought it was always cheaper to book online. Three weeks ago I booked three seats from Thurles to Tralee, €29.50. Same trip if paid for at the ticket office was quoted by the booking office when I phoned up as €60.

If there is a code did you perhaps try and guess it? It's not rocket science.

I've been trying for the last three days and as soon as I select train times and hit proceed to reservation it tells me the page can't be found. Very frustrating.

Does anyone know todays code, or is the offer finished?
