    I am just curious as to what age bracket people are in on this board. Sometimes I get the feeling there's a good few over 40.

    ... Tss over 40's ... old ... can't cycle a bike, nevermind trying to use a computer.

    Over 40? No one is that old. That's even older than Lance! The arthritis would prevent use of a keyboard, surely.

    There are a few over 40 Boardsies. However they have problems getting up early in the morning, so you dont meet them that often:D.
    The old bones need a lie in.

    Well over 40, but arthritis is in one hand only, hence can still type (slowly)

    No, you can these yokes that go on your head and peck away at the keyboard that way. It takes longer, especially as the incontinence means frequent trips to the toilet.

    I'm up before most - it's the wandering off and getting lost in my night shirt that means I don't make it to the spins. Because of this a Garmin became a necessity so I could always find my way home from a spin - as long as I realise what it's for!

    For the record, I'm 42 and I object to being lumped in a category with 50 in it - why wasn't the category 40 to 49????

    yeah should just be 30 - 99, its all the one once your over the hill :D

    PAAH! You're only a toddler if you can still use a toilet! I had to upgrade my armchair to a commode.

    35.

    And thankfully a lot fitter that I was at 30. Or 25 for that matter.

    @Jawgap - I'd like to buy one of your jerseys please!

    My GP asked me about my toilet habits recently. I told him I was regular as clockwork. Bang on 6-30am every morning I have a huge bowel movement and I pi55ed like a racehorse. The only problem is I don't wake up until 7!

    They have a nice selection here - http://www.love2pedal.com/ - the bib shorts don't have chamois though - they have incontinence pads!

    Whatever ... I am not ashamed to say i am celebrating the 9th anniversary of my 21st this october.
    I lived through ALL the 80's, was a grunge teenager, immigrated 3 times...
    and not 1 wrinkle on my face ( except after an epic cycle but that's dehydration )

    Cycling keeps people young ... and beer, and cake.

    I had one of those Holy F*ck moments last night when I heard an ad for the 20th anniversary re-release of the Stone Roses album, Fools Gold.
    I was nearing the end of my teenage years when it was originally released.:(

    edit:4 people on the poll weren't even born when it came out first.
    That's scary.:eek::eek:

    Well at least I don't have to spend money buying all those retro jerseys as I have the originals;)

    I never get asked for ID, rarely ever have either. :( And I'm only 20, I'm small and I do NOT look old. Maybe I just won't age past this.. when I was doing my leaving cert a few years back, everyone kept asking my sister (currently 24) if she was the one doing exams. She's still rubbing that in my face. ;_;

    150 people have voted on this poll so far. If 149 of you went out on a Boards spin, I'd tempted to go along....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,220 ✭✭✭✭Lumen

    The poll results look like a pot belly gathered around "31 to 40". :pac:

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,297 ✭✭✭✭Jawgap

    I thought I should post a pic up so when I come out for a spin people will recognise me

    I suspect a lot of people who voted don't even count in the POB categorie.
