    Look at any movie made between 1995 and 2005 which involved the interweb and you'll see Yahoo everywhere. They had/have massive penetration in the States, themselves and AOL were two of the biggest brands on the web for a long time.

    have been using yahoomail for a long time now (although not @yahoo address)
    the oldest mail I still have in a mailbox is march 98, not my only email address but use it a lot

    anyway my mail is still working as it always has

    Very. I have a (pay) account with them myself for email from one address.
    I'd be lost without it.

    Jaysus same here. I have an old account and it's Spam city. The whole site is like poison for the eyes as well! Dont see why anyone would even want to use it to be honest.

    That's pretty much I left it tbh.

    And it kinda stopped working when I refused to upgrade to the new thing and tried to keep it on Classic.

    Why is it not cool to have Hotmail? I have it and it works fine.

    Yahoo Mail hasn't been working for a long time. It has nothing to do with server crashes.

    I logged into yahoo just there.

    Yahoo answers is pretty cool. Not only does it get you answers to your questions, it's also a brilliant place to troll.

    Well speaking personally i hate the whole setup with yahoo, especially the ads and the fact that i get inundated with spam the whole time, and i would say pretty much the same with hotmail.

    I just find gmail much cleaner, clearer and easier to use. Not totally mad on the conversations and some other stuff, but it's the best ive used by a country mile.

    That can be very confusing at times.

    I'd love an option to turn it off but they don't seem very likely to take it out anytime soon seeing as they pride themselves on it.

    I'll just wait for Google Wave instead. That's too cool to annoy me. :D:cool:

    I use Yahoo Mail, never had much problem with it. I use Thunderbird to actually read my mail, rarely do I ever actually go to the website.

    I'm trying to migrate over to GMX mail, but I never got round to it yet.
