(I posted this on gadgets, but got no response. It's for a sick relative in hospital so I'd really like to know if it'd work, thank you!)

Does anybody have any experience with small portable tv sets, something like this:
    http://www.geekalerts.com/portable-7...v-from-nikkai/

Would I be able to receive RTE on one of these? There are quite a few for sale on ebay UK. They say: "with Integrated Freeview and Analogue Receiver" so it should work right?

Anybody have any experiences good or bad?
    Thanks! smile.gif

Make sure that the one you buy has it's own aerial. Looks just like the aerial you'll find on a portable hi-fi.

These tv's all will pick up rte but some you need to plug in an aerial lead.
The one with an aerial will pick up rte independantly as most hospitals dont have tv sockets available to patients.
