Is is possible to lose that much "fat" in that time??

ill be hitting the gym about 10 times between now and then,

    my plan is,
    upper body
    next cardio,
    next lower body and back
    next cardio
    day off,

    repeat.

    diet is pretty much,

small bowl crunchy nut cereal for breakfast,

Lunch is usually a tuna sandwich on brown bread

Then usually chicken and some carbs of some sort for dinner...

drink alot of water, nothing else bar maybe a glass of tea or so

no snacks unless i get starving before i go bed, then prob have a bowl of cereal again or something...

    My height is 6"1/2'
weight is 15 stone, looking to drop down to 14, or a leaner 14 and a half(expect some muscle growth, just back to training about 4 weeks after 2 year gap)

Is there anything else i could do?

I know people will suggest make dinners etc smaller, and have 5 or 6 smaller snacks, just with work its hard.
    (terrible excuse i know)

Basically i usually have 4 meals a day, one is big, one is medium and 2 are smallish.

In last 4 weeks iv shed a stone, and bulked up a bit, my fitness is gone up insanely, and im looking a lot better.

Im going away in 2 weeks and just want to look in shape i suppose!

ill be keeping the plan up after i come back etc... just want to make all the increases i can until then!

    any help appreciated guys!

Could you lose 1 Stone in 2 weeks? Yes

Can you lose 1 Stone or 14lbs of Fat in 2 weeks, with minimal muscle loss, highly unlikely I'd imagine especially at your weight.

    That's 7lbs of Fat loss a week.
    That's 1lb of Fat a day
    That's a 3500 calorie deficit every day
Which more than likely means eating practically nothing every day for 2 weeks

It doesn't take a genius to know that's not sustainable

You will feel like crap because you cant very much, you will have to exercise with no food so you will be weak, your body will find it hard to repair itself. You may stress your immune system leading to illness, you will wreak havoc with your metabolism, your colon wont thank you, at that sort of calorie intake your body will waste muscle

So yeah you can do it but weight loss over quick periods is not a good idea and once you go back to living normally your body will think all its Christmases have come at once and only be too happy to gain weight.

In 2 weeks your scales may read 1 Stone lighter but that does not mean you have lost 1 Stone of fat or are any healthier.

Don't try and rush it, continue with the slow but steady progress.

Generally speaking (unless you are very, very overweight) losing more than 2 pounds a week is not advised.

7 pounds for two weeks straight is going to be basically a starvation diet with tons of cardio and is going to be virtually impossible to achieve and totally not sustainable.

Losing weight (and keeping it off) is about consistency, not crash diets.

hmm, i hadn't checked how much calories were in a pound of fat.

Guess its a no no then!

I'v been losing steadily about a quarter of a stone a week at the moment. But part of me is thinking some of this is water weight so not to accurate.

I haven't starved myself once or anything. Just stopped eating sweets and such. I am used to eating alot and still being skinny, so eating less i shed weight fast.

I tend to have very high metabolism, am by no means over weight etc.

Bf% looks to be around 11(can see the line down my stomach, but don't have a six pack)

Was just looking to speed up the process!

    Thanks for the help!

I'll just keep sticking with what i'm doing and lose the slow but steady way!

It can be done. I've done it.

How?....I had horrific tonsilitis and couldn't eat anything. I literally had 4 tiny meals in two weeks. Lost just under a stone and I looked as bad as I felt.

It can't be done healthily. Keep at the steadier weight loss.

Oh and btw.... as soon as I got back eating normally I piled on the weight again and a little more. I think your body over compensates in case you go into starvation mode again, so if you plan to keep all of that off, you'll have to plan to stay on your starvation diet and that just sucks.

Sorry but it is completely unrealistic and unhealthy.

To lose 1lb of fat, you will have to consume 3, 500 calories less than your energy expenditure, so it is healthy to lose approximately 2 lbs a week (7,000 calories less)
Also the excess skin has nowhere to go!!

Muscle weighs heavier than fat, so many people that start exercising might not lose much weigh on the scales, but their aim should be to get lower body fat percentage and lower BMI.

Not consuming enough calories can have an adverse effect on weight loss, as it slows metabolism down so your energy expenditure gets slower. You can boost your metabolism by eating little and often.

You mentioned you find this hard because of work. The key to this is organisation prepare healthy meals the night before and bring healthier foods with you. Eating out or buying ready made meals can be toxic for your diet (hidden fats and sugars, empty calories).

Muscles go through a process of tear and repair when exercising. The muscles need time to repair themselves to develop. Because of this it is important to have a break between weight training of minimum 1 day. Protein is very important in the development of muscles, include in diet.

Exercise also raises your metabolism and continues to burn energy at a higher rate even after you stop exercising. It is best to exercise for 30 minutes a day for 1st few weeks and build up to 1 hour for weight loss.

Do not eat straight after exercising, have a small banana if hungry. It is important to drink plenty of water (2ls a day) more if you are exercising excessively.

You can buy tablets from chemists and health food stores that block fat and raise your metabolism but I cannot comment on the effective of these, as I believe it is healthier to do it the natural way. Also worth looking at vibration plates are proving very popular, would have to use about 2 times a week and long term to see benefits.

Would also highly recommend getting a personal trainer for a few sessions, you can ask whatever questions you want and they can tell you what will suit you in your situation best.

Its not about how u look its about how u feel, the better u feel the better u will look!!

Can I ask why you shouldn't eat straight after exercising? I thought that your metabolisim would be higher at this stage?
