I've noticed that a hack was installed to allow those on the mathmatics forum to use mathmatical symbols. My question is, is there a similar method availible for something like Shorthand?

The writing form is part of a course I am starting, and would also be used in some secretarial work as well. Just wondering if such a thing is actually possible in a message board environment.

The LaTeX hack worked because there was a service out there which converts the LaTeX notation to an image.

If you can find a similar thing for shorthand, let me know and I can see how easy/hard it is to integrate.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
