Finding it tough sticking to my fitness plan!!

I have been trying to stick to a fitness plan (see below) over the past few weeks, but am starting to lose interest. My motivation was to lose 1.5 stone to get back down to my normal weight again.

Monday - 0.5 on cross trainer, followed by a run of approx 4k
Tuesday - 0.5 on cross trainer, followed by sit ups
    Wednesday - 4k run
    Thursday - day off
Friday - 0.5 on cross trainer, followed by sit ups
    Saturday - 4k run
    Sunday - 1 hour walk

I am thinking of incorporating some light weights into my routine to try and tighten up, but am not too sure which weights to focus on. Like many other people, i'm finding it difficult to cut my portion sizes down and cut out the beer / wine....

I would appreciate any idea's on how I could reorganise my fitness routine to make it more interesting and of course sustainable over the course of the winter...

    Many thanks

Why 'light' weights? I'm not sure what shape your in at the moment but my understanding is that all that slugging away on cardio machines can be a thankless task. Like you're constantly in a battle will getting a calorie defocit, whereas incorporating weights and putting on lean muscle actually requires you to eat more, and the advantage is muscle speeds up your metabolism.

I'd say find someone who looks like Pamela Anderson did in her baywatch years.
And go to the gym with her.
