Converting from VCR to DVD - Improving the Picture.

    I have just converted a video onto my DVD recorder but because it was 3 hours long i had to use ESP(Extended Standard Play) which means the picture is good but just not good enough..

    What i would like to know is is there any way of improving the picture quality on my laptop drive regarding any software??

    Also is there any good websites for creating any FREE DVD covers??

    For a wedding we'll say.

    Any help would be great.
