Till the (eternal) september starts again, lots of n00bs looking for places to stay, places to get drunk, places to have sex in a car (like on the old CIT forum).

Tbh i'm getting bored now, no job and just doing **** around the house and that. can't wait to have a go off this 'turd year' thing. I know i'll be sick of it after a week but how bad.

I wonder if it will be an eventful year with freshers causing trouble or just a depressing recession-based year

/me grabs the best seat in the forum, and a large box of pop corn

Same with me, no job, sick of just lounging round the house with occasional trips to town for a change of scenery and finding lots of stuff I could buy if I had the money.

Freshers will be interesting to watch, as will what happens to christmas day...will it or will it not go ahead??

Roll on September, the 1st day excitement(?) of being in 4th year, then you realise all the hard work you will have to do, then the boredom, then the sickening feeling of sitting in a class day in day out for another year.....gloomy but fcuk it

I'm quite enjoying my summer actually. I'm over in the US having a ball. Been here for a month and a bit now. Only 2 weeks left now though . I'll be heading into 2nd yr. I'm wondering how many of my classmates from 1st yr will actually have passed their exams to get through. Should be interesting alright.

I can't wait to get out of this town and back to Cork. Never thought I'd say that! But I'm just absolutely sick of some of the people here. Too much hometown drama! Saying that the majority of people from Killarney go to college in Cork, poo. Oh well. Sick of work too. I'm working about 55 hours a week. Up at six most mornings. Guess it keeps me occupied..

So, when does college start again anyway?

I am not enjoying my summer,i am so bored this holiday coz i have nothing to do jus hanging around doing th usual monotonoous activities and it is pissing me off but there is nothing i can do.Just praying that it should soon be over.

I'm not being nosy but what are these forms for?

It's just that I haven't had any correspondence from the college at all and I'm getting quite worried and nervous about it

I haven't received anything from the college itself.

Ah I see. Went through that myself the last 2 years. Quite annoying if you have to keep going up and down especially if you're so far away from the college..

Dunno if it's a curse or luck but for me its a 10 minute walk away
