Just wondering does anyone know when the crunch fitness in the Beacon opening? It said summer 2009 but......

Also is the weights section any good in any of the other crunches?eg squat rack, plenty of dumbells & barbells, enough benches to go around and aswel does anyone know the student membership cost. Please dont refer to the UCD one because i dont think the student price will be the same for others.

    Cheers for anyone/everyone who replies

Crunch DL is beautiful, great pool, great sauna, great steam room, great cardio equipment.

Notice how I didn't say great weights room. If you like squatting on a Smith machine and deadlifting in a cramped up "heavy" free weights room which fits no more than 3 maybe 4 people at a time then go for it. I liked it but I got sick of it so will be moving on when I return to bigger and better things - with or without my mates ! I'm that sick of Crunch.

www.bhaf.ie is open in sandyford - not the most glam but great equipment and more personal than crunch which does not really cater for someone who is actually into training (well females may fair better)

yes i work as a personal trainer from there but can open it up any time so i am not restricted by the hours. I know the hours are crap but thats the road they have taken. Maybe they might change in the future

Its a shame really, it had all the credentials (mainly the price and location). But the hours are a deal breaker.

So does anyone know when crunch in beacon will open?
