Can't see the vid but if it's that Bible Camp documentary it's some pretty messed up stuff alright, although afaik the place has closed down since the doc was made. It's available on google video to view free and legal afaik

To embed the video edit the url in the youtub tags so that the tags just have the letters and numbers from after the = sign

    Them christians so crazy!

If that isn't a cult I don't know what is.

Why are children subjected to this?

What the hell are you talking about? :D

Anyway original poster, welcome to three years ago. This is from a documentary called Jesus Camp. The camp has since closed down but reopened as Kids in Ministry and are still creepy. A slightly older Levi is now preaching a great deal.

This is pure nuts. Those kids aren't bloody criminals - what the hell did they do wrong that they've to be sorry about?! this kinda thing really bugs me - scary thing is that they'll prob grow up believing this sort of nonsense. Fully agree with jumpman, the US seems well foreign when this stuff comes up.

    that video creeped me out
like nazi indoctrination except jesus style

with beliefs being shoved down your throat like that its easy enough to see how people like the congregation of the westboro baptist church come about.

"if harry potter had been in the old testiment he'd have been put to death"
and heres me thinking that people fighting evil were generally a good thing:rolleyes:

If I ever have kids, I'm sending them there.
    For the lulz.

I've seen that documentary! Its messed up! WTF was up with getting the kids to say hello and pray to a cardboard cut out of George Bush?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

That is just scary. It's worse than Scientology. That woman should be shot.

You could only see this sh1te in America. In Ireland you'd have the arse laughed off you and rightly so.

Oh no, I'm going to get arrested for blasphemy!!

I wonder how much it costs.

The kids have been driving me mental this summer, might ship 'em off to that next year for a bit of peace and quiet.

They make the catholic church look positively angelic! and poor harry potter must be ****ting himself!

Religious freedom in action (for the adults anyways) God help those kids though, no pun intended.

That is totally fu*ked up, it's made me feel a little bit ill to be honest. My heart goes out to the kids, if they have parents who send them to places like this I can't imagine home life been to much fun either!!

If people are referring to the camp from the documentary "Jesus Camp", it was apparently closed down due to the negative publicity the film generated. A quick Google turned up the following:

Pastor will shut down controversial kids camp

People in this thread are going a little bit over board, considering the camp is gone now, well at least for several years at least.

I watched like a minute and gave up. Let me guess what eventually happened, they all started jerking around as if the holy spirit was in them, right? :pac:

Harry Potter would have been put to death?
SHE would also have been put to death for insanity.

"This is unlike how fast you can go through McDonald's Drive-Thru." (or something similar)
Yeah, she'd know all about that herself ;)
