And if all the scumbags get sent to prison would you start dealing drugs?
I assume you wouldn't, and neither would 99% of the population. So clearly someone will only take over while there are still scumbags in a position to.
You start to give real prison sentences instead of "100 years but 99 suspended and with good behaviour you'll be out in time for dinner" and you start throwing any dealer you catch in there and you'll notice less and less people will be willing to take over.

Friends of mine gathered up a posse (mainly brothers and in laws) a couple of weeks ago and hunted down a local pack of chavs that are terrorising our town (they are frequently bashing lone drunk males on the back of the head with bucky bottles etc for the "buzz", if you look at there bebo pages, they all think thay are in "the fight club")! well anyway, they managed to track them down to a local closed old wee cemetry on the edge of town, there was about 14/15 young chavs and about 6/7 of our crew... he good guys(our lads) had already collected up a few items... sewer rods/ camogie sticks/ and one baseball bat... also got work boots on prior to the hunt.... well anyway they found these chav scum and ran at them, the scum started throwing bottles/stones etc... one of the chav sum tried to do a karate typ kick... (they somehow seem to think they are all martial arts masters after watching a few "how to " clips on youtube in their smacked out house anti-social parties etc!! ), well anyway, he fell id kick to be met with a sewer rod to the forehead that opened him, he then fell sideways onto a severe steel toecap boot which then sent him opposite side to more of the same... to quote one of the good guys a few dys later " the little scum **** should have hit the ground about eight seconds before he actually did"! the same scum **** was seen a week later at one of his brethrens funeral (who had died a day before after an od of lithium and vodka ha ha) covered in bandages and limping and holding his ribs!

but the little chav criminals seem to bounce back somehow!!!!

is it time to introduce a transit van/pick one off the street/ journe to cuilcagh mountains/ blowtorch/ no digits left....?

That's not ironic. What is ironic is someone choosing one of the least dangerous recreational drugs, legal or not, as justification for violently attacking someone.

MDMA, the active ingredient in Ecstasy, is a very safe drug, a hell of a lot safer than alcohol, both biologically and socially.

Also don't try the whole "There's other stuff in it!" -- That's only because it's illegal and unregulated.

Yea, I'd say they'll all behave themselves from now on.

Unless of course the above incident somehow reinforces their anti-social tendencies and increase their alienation leading to pretty much more of the same violence, crime etc.

But hey, as long as you felt really great beating the **** of some guys, I guess it doesn't really matter.
