    Is this a troll?

Anyway - for what it's worth the newest movie is pretty tame compared to the previous ones.

Is Fr Martin still banned? This thread would suit him down to the ground.

Of course he's not being sarcastic, he actually raises some valid points and we should take what he says quite seriously for a children's sake.

    ....NOT

I Heard an American bible-basher on the Fm104 phoneshow talking about this during the week and he was deadly serious. Saying that we're all going to hell 'n' stuff. What a knob-head.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,949 ✭✭✭A Primal Nut

Yeah I know too many kids who having watched Harry Potter, started casting evil spells on their peers. Shameful.:(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,119 ✭✭✭Wagon

Didn't this actually appear in America (of course)? Some looper who runs this think called Jesus Camp screams at 6 year olds that he was a Warlock and in Christ's time, be put to death.

    Maybe the OP is her.

In the last 100 years exactly what has our religion done for our children ?

    Isolate them from their parents
    Persecute them
    Rape them
    Murder them
    Bury their mutilated bodies......

maybe witchcraft doesn't have the monopoly on evil.

Worse than sad, instilling an unsubstantiated claim into the minds of young impressionable children that Harry Potter is evil and you will be condemned to eternal suffering in "hell" for reading it is just sick. That's child abuse and she deserves to be locked up.

Its from a documentary called Jesus Camp. The whole documentary is on Youtube I think

More accurately where does it say works of fiction are evil?

Sadly it is. I've heard of it some time ago. Was on Channel 4 at one stage.
I tuned out from it. I was just getting more angrier at the gobschites by the minute and not doing my blood pressure any good. :(

Religion is the most dangerous thing in the world, the message that is in Harry Potter is more believable than that 1000 page book on "how to make waffles".

Bible bashers need to be crucified, although they may enjoy that.

Im quite happy to stay in bed on a sunday morning and watch LOTR, Harry potter, star trek, and the life of brian.
