walking will help the legs but not anywhere near as much as lunges will.

    MBTs are better.

After busting my butt in the gym for the last few months, I am totally skeptical as to any of these gimmicks and believe that the only thing that works is hard work in the gym...

    Just my tuppence worth

Funky looking sandles with 'FIT' in the name to sell them. Your better of hitting the gym as the post before me mentioned. The extra calories burnt from walking in them is very very little. They may help improve balance according to some research.

Have no time for either fitflops or MBTs, they may be comfortable but that's about it.

In fact believe MBTs are potentially dangerous for anyone with a balance or proprioception issue particularly after an injury. See a lot of people buying them at work post injury when they can't manage them at all.

Ban me for being off topic but I have to say that the word(s) "tone", "toning", "tone up" are so f*cking annoying.

Is there any chance that if you reduced your body fat percentage that the overall appearance of cellulite might lessen? Throwing that one out there for the fitness experts!

My cellulite has improved loads since I've started doing tons of squats.

I have them. I wear them around the house when doing the hovering and general housework along with wrist weights.

I think they are good for a light workout and you are more tired after wearing them. Also they promote good posture and form so this is a good thing.

I have a bit of cellulite my boyf says i'm crazy but anyways so far these haven't made a difference to it.

The fact these things exist just show people will buy anything.

First time i ever heard of 'Fitflops'.

I'm no fitness expert, so I must ask, from reading the 'Mid-Footbed' part of this page:

    http://www.fitflop.com/technology/

Wouldn't that do more damage than anything else? Surely creating an unstable surface to walk on wouldn't do your knees any favours?

When I read the OP, I pictured a pair of flipflops in my head, where the sole was simply a sole-shaped weight (as opposed to wearing ankle weights, etc.) but Fitflops seem, to me anyway, like a ludicrous idea.

I bought a pair about two weeks ago, I was skeptical but I do think they have helped to tone my calf muscles a bit, you definitely feel it after wearing them for a couple of hours. i think they do help a bit with posture, but only for the short time you are wearing them, I think yoga excercises would be more beneficial as it retrains your posture, not just a short term solution. I bought a pair of "Elektra" sequinned for E75. Not sure they are quite worth this price though, squats & lunges are free! :p
