Hey all, i've been traveling for the last 16 months (incl. 7 months work in NZ) but have now settled for a bit in Oz and want to get fit again. I was training 3 nights a week at thai boxing before i left and had a chin up bar and was doing that online program the really basic one (i'm sure ye know it) I pretty much havn't done anything physical in 16 months and feel like a slug so i wanna get started again at home.. I am looking into a gym for boxing but can;t find one yet.. also i dont have the money for a proper gym membership
What i do have is time and a skipping rope....
I'm 6.1 25yo.. and about 12 stone... i'm looking to tone up abs and upperbody really as it's all gone soft!
At the moment i'm just doing some push-ups and squats in the morning.. what else can i do...
any tips for the skipping rope...
I'm going to need weights or join a gym right?

When you say any tips for the skipping rope, can you skip? Or do you want tips to learn?

rossboxing is a great site - he's got some great stuff on youtube too.

Do rounds on skipping with exercise thrown in

6 or 7 rounds of the following

    3 mins skip - 5 chins, 10 press ups, 15 squats

or some other similar exercises thrown in the interval

Then you could throw in 5 - 10 double unders on the minute, or a burst of really fast skipping on the minute

I like to skip right in front of a big clock with a very visible second hand
