Is it too late to apply?

    Hey just decided that i wana head to college year (I'll be a mature student). Initially i was goin to work this year and save some cash. Work has now fell through so I want to head straight to college. I haven't applied to anywhere is it too late now? I was thinkin of appling to do applied social care in dkit, is this a competitive course to get in to? Also is it too late to apply for grants and stuff? Any help much appreciated!:)

    grants deadline is 31st of august, contact your local vec for more info, you might still get a place in a course in the college if theres space, the only way to know is contact the college directly
