Will have to check the size in the morning.
I plan to keep the car for a while so something pretty good needed.

    Check this thread: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055627840

As other have said. Getting them from the UK is cheaper but as your NCT is Friday.
It depends on your milage also.Continental are a good tyre but a soft and tends to wear quickly. I have Dunlop SportMaxx on mine and im happy (225/45/17). Michelin, Goodyear, Bridgestone are all excellent makes. You get what you pay for. After all its whats between you and the road

I use a guy called Shane in Fast Fit down past Bloomfields. Best thing is to check prices for four tyres on www.eiretyres.com, add €60 or so for fitting. You now have your base price. Then ring FF for a price, you should be able to get them to within €100 or so of that price but including a four wheel alignment which normally costs €70.
