    Always wanted to work in TV and Film. Got the qualifications and worked in the industry for a couple of years, ended up hating it because it was all unionised and the nepotism was crazy. You definitely need to be conscience and moral free to be in it.

    When I was younger I wanted to be a doctor... I ended up with a degree in computer science, and I'm on the dole at the moment. :(

    I wanted to be a scientist. I am now a scientist. Often wish I wasn't.

    There's a lot to be said for a nice 9 to 5 gig where you can switch off when you get home.

    I wanted to be a Jedi. Honestly I was obsessed. I even dreamt that when I died and went to heaven I could finally use a 'real' lightsabre like in the movies. Yeah I was pretty morbid even as a kid.

    Ironically, I still want to be the same thing now that I wanted to be all through my youth: a cop.

    Since I was five years old, I wanted to be a cop, and I still do.

    Other careers that spun through my head at one time (though none ever dislodged the desire to be a Garda):

    I was circling over the whole area of law / law enforcement when I was younger, but wound in something completely different. I'm starting college next month to get me back on track. Hope it works out for you! ;)
