trying to get fit

    im trying to get fit....im eating properly but im wondering about my exercise....is swimming good for losing calories....was doing about 10 lengths of a 20m pool...but the results are very small( just after learning to swim) is walking/jogging better???

    First point of advice is to read the stickies her and in the nutrition/diet forums.

    What are your stats and post up your daily diet in full regardless of how good you say it is. Many believe they have a good diet but there are usually some culprits in there

    :rolleyes: OMG not another one .... The nutrition stickies are great to start with and even reading two or three days worth of posts should give you some good ideas re exercise

    200m swim is your exercise. Sure you could do that in about 5mins. That is why the results are very small.......... You be lucky to burn anout 40kcal

    The same threads popping up always pisses me off to no degree i find myself having to reply ... it's a disease i think!
