    May as well

7.00 mile "sprint" through the mud.

A high draw is a help over the shorter distances. Mirandas Girl loves the heavy and is a twice winner over course albeit on firmer ground. Dedo also winner on soft and heavy, does best over 6 furlongs but a danger, Belle's Ridge only wins come over 9 and decent ground, but a high draw. Wigwam Willie at a bigger price could go well, decent drawn, wins on soft and heavy over 7/8 furlongs. Kaitlins Joy winner over 8 to 10 furlongs on heavy ground, well drawn.

I did not see any of Mondays racing so was it soft, gluey or full blown heavy?

was not at it but live quite close and there was quite afew short showers through the day so id say it was soft/mucky .

Jockeys were saying last nite it was 'just sticky' & not heavy, but when the horses open it up, any rain that falls on it will make it boggy.
If they move the rails in for this evenings races I suppose this will mean it will still be 'just sticky'

A few nice tips here yesterday so keep em coming

    ;)

It lashed rain most of the night here in galway so I'd imagine the going will be much softer today, ie heavy !!

Anyone have any price info or opinion on Qualviro? Seems to do its best work in the rain. Relying on a big price to make it worth backing e/w because i dont think it will win but seems to be a consistent sort.
