What's your resting heart rate? Mine is 49 which seems to be quite good.

42 - 44 bpm. When im up and walking around its high 50's/low 60's. The highest iv ever seen my go is in the high 160's - and that was when i was about to pass out i was pushing so hard!!!

I've hit the 190's with a monitor on. 198 iirc but I'm not sure. 160's is not high at all tbh.

How are you all measuring your RHR?

    polar f20 hrm!

in theory it says i should be able to get my hr up there to the 190s but i can't. God knows iv tried to get it past the 160s.

Sprints on a bike will be anywhere up to 168 that iv seen. Literally dying at that.

When running, im more of a distance guy that speed but find it easier to get the HR up there but still not to the 190's.

Im 67kg , 5ft 11 so in theory i should be able to get it up there but for some reason can't. The HRM is fairly new (april) and its been very very consistant.

    Hi There

I measure my RHR first thing in the morning when I wake up (and providing I do not need to use the loo immediately:D) by taking my pulse at either my neck or wrist for a minute.

A few years ago when I was running 50ish miles a week I slept with my HRM on a few times lowest HR recorded at that time was 37, but I was probably deep asleep at that time.

The RHR I go by is my manually taken morning HR.

    Best Regards,

    M

Yeah i left my HR moniter on in bed and look at it a few min after i wake up still lying in bed.
Sometimes i wear it during the day before and after training just to see it during different daily activities

    My RHR is 48 bpm.

The highest I've ever seen it go was 204 bpm during a tough sprint on the bicycle, and I was almost dying so I'm guessing that's pretty much close to my Max HR.

    Male, 29yo, 5ft 9", 62kg
