    When should i see any improvement, i am going to the gym for the last 3-4 weeks, training at least 3-4 times a week. Just wondering should i see an improvement yet also swim as well.
    I am also heading away for 3 weeks to the states next week, so could anyone suggest a work out. Just to tone up.
    Im 19, weigh about 65 kg, average build.

    What im doing in the gym is as follows:

    Bike 5 Min warm up- HEART RATE 100-110

    Run on the treadmill for 10 min Heart rate 160-170

    Leg Press-10 reps- 2 sets
    Leg Curl1 10 reps - sets
    Switching between both

    Cross Trainer- 10 min- Heart rate 160-170

    Full press ups- 10 reps- 2 sets
    Inverted row- 10 reps- 2 sets
    Switching between sets

    Stepper 10 Min Heart rate 160-170

    Shoulder press- 10 Reps 2 sets
    Lat Pull- 10 reps 2 sets
    Switching between sets


    Abdominal Curls 10 Reps , 3 sets
    Oblique Crunches 10 Reps, 2 Ech side
    Back extension 10 reps, 2 sets
    Bridge, 30 secs


    Diet

    As im a vegeterian i dont eat meat, fish, poultry so my typical daily diet would be

    Breakfast

    Cereal
    Tea
    Toast(somtimes)

    Lunch
    Sandwhich- Cheese Salad
    Pitta- Cheese Salad
    Egg mayonaise Salad

    Dinner
    Vegeterian Kieve, Veg and potatos
    Pasta
    Pizza once a week
    Veg and potatos

    Goals
    Im average weight about 10 stone so dont need to loose weight
    Just looking to tone up
    Nice build to to heavy etc

    op, your diet is the main problem IMO - also 3 or 4 weeks at 3 times a week is 10 - 12 gym sessions in total? You cant expect to see MAJOR changes in that much time and if your diet is bad enough it is possible you wont see any results ...

    Thanks for the reply, was of for a month but had been going for 3 months at least 3-4 times a week before i was off. I started back this week hopfully going to go at least 4-5 times a week now.

    Any Advice diet wise or about my workout.

    You'll need to up your protein intake-unsure how you can do that as a vegetarian! Cottage cheese, protein shakes but you'll soon get sick of them!

    Thanks for that. Its just meat, chicken and fish i wont eat but happy to eat dairy products if thats any help.

    Eggs are probably the best source of protein for vegetarians (obviously not vegans)
