    The 1.9 TDI brigade... :p

    You called? lol

Tail gaters for me, the ones who drive up your backside.
I was on one of my first drives in my epic 1.9 TDI (sorry Cmar lol) and I was on a road with an 80 speedlimit and I was very happy with going that, yet I still managed to end up with a snake of cars behind me, the first one was up my exhaust pipe and the rest were up eachothers. If I had to slam on the breaks for whatever reason . . I dont wanna think what could happen.

I dont get this kind of attitude of driving up my exhaust pipe, and then the car behind that one was doing the same and so on so forth.

    The state of our roads.
People not using indicators on roundabouts
    lane changes with looking signals
    Stupid speed limits
    waiting times for driving test
the cost if a car service.

Driver's in the bus lane who speed up to skip a line of traffic and merge in front of you. Being cut off, driver's blocking clearways and moving into hatch marking's preventing driver's in the opposite direction from making a right turn. Incorrect lane usage, tail gating, and incorrect use of roundabout's

What's wrong with automatics? Bet you've never even sat in one :D

Into Room 101 (Warehouse 101 now) go old people who drive horribly.

It is the principle of it. Real people drive stick americans drive automatics. I have been in a few automatics (taxis if that matters) and have been in some fairly sweet manual cars belonging to work mates and friends etc.

My car is just a boring Corolla you can make fun of that if you like.

And yet you can't buy a manual Veyron :D Anyway, no sense in rehashing the manual/auto argument, we'll agree to differ.

....oh dear. Taking your analogy along then, Real Women Drive Corolla's..........
. I have been in a few automatics (taxis if that matters) and have been in some fairly sweet manual cars belonging to work mates and friends etc.

...actually, it doesn't matter.........but, people who make assinine comments on subjects they know absolutely nothing about.........'I've been in etc etc...' What tosh. I've been passenger in and Airbus and 737 - wtf has that got to do with the abilities, or my assessment of, either..? ffs........
My car is just a boring Corolla you can make fun of that if you like.
Oh yes please, allow me. I suppose if I removed 3 out of the 4 gears in my 16-yr-old AUTOMATIC 968 I'd know how you feel.

Actually.......no I wouldn't. My car would still be better.

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

But definately agree with the priciple of sillys moo's putting their make up on while driving - unless she's fit (like above) they get a disapproving scowl from me!

Thats the thing that annoys me the most on the roads, myself and my mates call it random braking. Any time a car comes come the opposite side of the road they brake. They approach the slightest bend in the room again heavy on the brakes. I dont just dont get it, they must go through brake pads like they are going out of fashion.

    And brake light bulbs

If I have to follow one of these idiots for long enough, I'll end up flashing my main beam whenever they brake - seems to stop them flashing every couple of seconds :)

Also hate people that dont dim there lights when you pass them out driving at night time. Or they dim them until you get 50-100m infront of them and stick on the full beams again. So annoying!!! Until the red lights dissapear from infront of you shouldn't have on your full beams!!And the amount of people on the road that do it is unbelievable!

The only way I see fit to deal with this crowd is by flicking on the rear fog light.

3.Old Old grannys in sport coupes. ( seen some granny in 330 coupe, 08 reg at that time...You dont know what is it for, so just go and give it to your grandchildren...)
    4. Poeple in Tdi passats, who call every single modified car a "boyracer car", while speeding, overtaking, driving like a tit...
    5. Puntos, corsas, polos and ather small insects which doing 60km/h in 100km/h roads.
    6. Speed limits in country.Examples:

Some of the speed limits seriously need looking at!
Prime example: Butlerstown to Ardkeen ring road! why bother with 2 lanes if the road is limited to 60km/h ffs! Some joke!

An incident that occurred today while driving up through Dundrum village jogged my memory a good bit.
This chap in a Passat drove on the wrong side of the road (as in head on towards me)for about 30m i'd say, I come to a full stop thinking wtf. His reason for doing this was he was parking on my side of the road, so to him this excuses his (dangerous IMO) actions. This is something i've come across a few times now. Some people really do think it is okay to drive on the wrong side of the road so long as they are going to park there car. Idiots.

Watch out, there might be an Alfa around the corner, or a french car falling to bits in front of you. But we all know that the TDI is trying to pass you out.

Thats probably the most annoying one. Stuck behind some old woman who would brake when a car was on coming, not alone would she do that but shes also nearly end up hitting ditches trying to avoid the car. You could fit a truck between the gap she left

People who park too close for me to open my doors, let alone get get/put the baby in the back seat.

Wimmin (usually) who stare straight ahead and drive up to the bumper of the car in front, instead of leaving me enough room to pull out and turn right and drive AWAY from them.

People who overtake me and then drive slower than me. WTF?

Finally, people who don't seem to understand that my BMW makes me more powerful, important, virile and attractive than them and don't get out of my way in their unreliable Alfas, Tractor engined Passats, girly MINIs and MX5s and Volkswageny Audis.
    Outta my way jerkoffs!
