Just joined northwood. They didn't mention anything about an induction so gonna have to find out for self.

Friend recommended starting strength but the sites I've found I have to sign up to and pay.

I haven't trained in a gym in around a year. I'm pretty out of shape, have gotten a bit of a belly the last year.

I'm looking to weight train every second day and I play fairly intense(for me anyway) five a side football once weekly.

Diet, as I want to build muscle I'm just going to eat loads regularly, normal meals plus loads of milk. I generally eat a lot but I'm going to try space it out more. Maybe in time I'll move on to a low GI to lose fat, for now just want to build as much muscle as possible.

So can anyone recommend a (free) online program or direct me to something that would suit a beginner?(a book perhaps)

Also if you see any major flaws in my plan/general pointers please feel free to share.

    Thanks

on your first night using Northwood just go to the little wooden box down by the pool at ground floor level and one of the guys will come over to you.

tell them its your first time here and they will go through a program for you.

BUT, if im honest you will get much much better advice here from the lads and ladies tbh.
