Pennys just for day to day stuff, La Senza for the nicer stuff

I find Penneys good too, even for some raunchy stuff, very cheap:)

La Senza, definitley, I've often blown a whole weeks wages in there. Not only is their lingerie sexy and pretty but the fit is amazing!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,594 ✭✭✭Maddison

Yeah I agree completely La Senza's fit are a lot better, at least when you pick up your size you know Its gonna fit whereas with Pennys its pot luck, might be 2 sizes big, might be 2 sizes small.

I love the Floozie range in Debenhams!
Other than that, La Senza I think

Brown Thomas for me. Although Im the type that likes to splash out on nice lingerie as a treat. I love wearing a nice set even for everyday wear, you feel really decadent or something I dunno. Also the quality to price ratio is amazing, you really get the life out of say DKNY or Calvin Klein where you'll probably bin the cheaper ones a few months down the line. For something so vital, you wear them every day, it's worth spending the extra money.

In money terms though, I'm a smaller chested lady so I can often find beautiful bras in BT in the sales and buy a load for a reasonable amount. I understand though, that bigger chested ladies don't always have the selection or the stock they want, my sister is one of those!

I loooove La Senza, and they have great sales!

I've also gotten some nice stuff in M&S, you wouldn't think it :O

Next often have pretty stuff, but the sizes are so inaccurate.

When I can't afford La Senza (i.e. 90% of the time) I usually buy my stuff in Penneys. Except stockings, have to go to Dunnes for those.

When I'm dreaming, I like Agent Provocateur. I love their collection and I love the message behind their brand ; female empowerment, embracing your sexuality etc.

Ann Summers have some nice bits and pieces sometimes, when you want the kink factor :D

La Senza is nice enough too, but the sizing is ridiculously small, I've always found! - A friend of mine who's no bigger than the average C cup measured a DD in there! I wouldn't let them near me with a measuring tape after that, there's only so many letters in the alphabet! :pac:

M&S is my favourite. Good quality, some nice styles and it's not overly expensive.

Topshop have some nice underwear too - went in there yesterday and got a few pieces!

Penneys and Dunnes aren't bad for staples either! Cheap and cheerful!

I got a one piece thing from Ann Summers, a kind of corsetty thing. And it was expensive and black with pink. Really pretty and flattering. Then I got a cheapy fluro pink one that was similar style but only about a tenner from pennys. And the guy I was seeing at the time lovesd the Pennys one. He would keep saying, oh and can you wear the pink one..I would be like, but how about this nice expensive one!?Nope!

    Dammit.

I buy Marks and Spencers bras because they fit me well. Knickers from Dunnes usually.

Aaaw, my boyfriend is coming back from Africa on Sunday and I won't have seen him in 4 weeks, so I stocked up on sexy bras and knicks while shopping today!! (Penney's best too!!) and some Topshop, might even go with stockings just to spoil him that extra bit! :D

I LOVE lingerie! :D:D Only clothing I enjoy shopping for.

I like Agent Provocateur, V.S, Floozie, La Senza and M&S. The only "plain" bras I own are my sports bras. I have splured badly before, a large 3 digit figure on a lingerie ensemble, only to go up a bra size shortly after. :o:(:(

One related pet peeve is seeing sooooooooo many women wearing the wrong sized bra, How can that be comfortable???:eek:. Although having dealt with certain assistants who hadn't got a clue what they were talking about I can see why.

Also aren't spanx Amazing? A feat of engineering! :)

I love to buy La Senza and Agent Provocateur. There's a great Dutch lingerie designer called Marlies Dekker who has beautiful stuff. I'm planning to do serious damage to my credit card in one of her Amsterdam stores, when I go there in a few months.

lingerie man, this is the ladies' lounge, not a place for men to ask us what we think of this or that.

You might be better off asking in personal issues.

I don't care as long as it fits. OH is threatening to burn/bury some of my old favourites which started out white and turned various, interesting shades of grey/yellow.
