HI guys , i bought the 3pay dongle and a ten euro voucher today, and i had a problem topping it up, i rang customer service (in dehli lol) and i actually found they were very helpfull and fast, now im not saying this is the case in every situation. but i just have a simple question... i use the internet a lot for facebook bebo youtube and e mail, so if i get 2gb for a week , would that get used up on me very fast do you think or is 2gb a lot? i suppose what im saying is what is the average one would use in a week? if not downloading music or movies?

About 3G a week is my typical. The odd heavy week is 12G. Never more than 26G a month generally. Typically less.

If I had to download a full Linux Distro or prebuilt VM file and some documentation for a project I could easily do 3G+ in a day.

You'd not watch a whole lot of youtube. I don't download movies or Music*, I'd watch less than 1 Youtube a week (and maybe only a few minutes).

    *I buy DVDs and CDs.

If you only watch a very little YouTube, then 2Gbyte a week is OK.

You know that excess of Cap is €490 a Gigabyte on 3 PAYG? I think what ever period you buy, if you use up the traffic, further "top up" is charged at excess rate until the period is over?

Thread split and moved, no need to bring up a year old thread with out of date information.

I use about 300MB a day on O2, but not every day or I'd go over the 10GB cap. That's just radio, boards and a few odds and ends.
