add another 3 weeks onto that!

very hard/unlikely that you could lose 10lbs in 2 weeks. what are your stata and diet like.

1st point of call - cut out the drink, **** foods, ditch the bread/pasta/rice/cereal etc.

Stick to whole unprocessed fooods like eggs, lean meat, veggies, fruits, nuts, fish.

This alone could get you halfway there ... again dependent on your stats but IT IS NOT SAFE to lose 10lbs in 14 days.

Why do you want to lose it so fast? why did you leave it so late?

a healthy weight loss is .5-2lbs per week

    Hi There

Unfortunately short of amputating half a limb I do not think there is any way to safely drop 10lb in two weeks which you would keep off.

Recommended safe weight loss from what I have read is between 1 and 2 lbs per week.

Sorry I cannot be of more help.

    Best Regards,

    M

Of course there is, fighters do it all the time and often for more weight.

Why do you need to lose 10 lb in 2 week, if you don't mind me asking? Is it for sport or cosmetic reasons I mean?

If it's cosmetic reasons you're going to get very little benefit in two weeks, if it's for a weigh in scenario it could be done.

My body looks so much better after two weeks if I don't drink, don't eat carbs and exercise. Like the difference is looking good on a beach and lookin' terrible, it's crazy the way it affects me.

I reckon the OP should cut out all carbs, run for 40 minutes everyday, count calories, multiply there BW in pounds x 12, eat that and hope for the best.

Between possibly burning 3 to 4 pounds of fat, and dropping water weight the OP might get it close enough anyway.

I reckon they should do a session of squats, lunges, jumping squats and push ups 3 times a week for 30 minutes.

    There's my tired 2 cents.

Yeah but it depends on where it's starting from and what it's for. Especially if it's say for holidays, I somehow think that the bit of improvement from not drinking is going to disappear pretty quick.

drink green tea twice a day

If it's for a wedding or something like that though, then maybe they're not too bothered whether it stays off or not. Maybe 5 lb would be a bit more reslistic though, and imo will make a bit of a difference in the mirror. 2.5 lb per week should be fairly doable imo. Wouldn't be an expert in fat loss by any stretch of the imagination though!

It might be possible to lose 10lbs in 2 weeks but id say you would want to practically starve yourself along with decent work outs which would be unhealthy. Like others have said eat lots of protein, v little carbs & make sure you have a calorie deficit every day.

I have a friend who needed to drop 7 lbs in a week and he did it by eating nothing but boiled chicken & steamed green veg for the week along with as much running as he could fit in. He needed to drop it for the garda recruitment.

If you're doing it for cosmetic reasons though, you wont notice a massive difference in body shape after 2 weeks ( maybe a less bloated stomach but very little noticeable fat loss )

    best of luck tho.

This is where more info comes in handy though, she could look better losing 5 pounds than if she lost 10, if we had any idea of her size and general shape.

if you do the juice masters(Jason Vale) diet, you can apparently lose 7lbs in 7 days!i've not tried it but friends have.

Sugar, without fats or carbs is what that sounds like? You'd be better off going on the 7up and multivitamin diet :P

Yup and they do it in even shorter time (i've seen 2 pounds lost in an hour).

Of course, they always drink water after and stick on 10 to 20 pounds in less than a day

Very little drinking, live on lean lean meat and fish. Have a bottle of dry white wine in the evenings, and you'll wake up the next day as dry as Gandhi's flip-flop.

Probably not the healthiest of endeavours.

Hi if you find a way let me know :D even if you do manage too loose the ten lb in ten days it wont stay off... Quick fix is just a quick fix and the weight will go back up in no time...think the advice that others have been giving you is fairly sound, excerise and cut out the **** food... oh and drink is a killer cant quiet stay off it my self, but i reckon if your doing enough excerise and healthy eating all week ,surely a few drinks cant be so bad at the wkend , thats just what i think :D best of luck with it

10lbs in 2 weeks...easy, if, and it's a big IF, if you really really want to.

You already know how, it's no secret. Get off the internet, no amount of research or googling will help.

Simple, reduce intake of food, increase exercise.
In the hour a day of playing around with the pc you could be losing weight.

Food, again, we all know the story. If it's grown on a farm somewhere it's better for the body than something thats put in a packet in a factory.

Diet and nutrition is one of the worlds biggest earners. We all do the same thing, read the books, watch the dvd, sign up for the gym, buy the gear for the gym, get the homegym rubbish etc. etc. when all we need to do is exercise and watch what we eat.

I know that may sound harsh, but it's what we all know what needs to be done. Getting motivated to do it is the problem. Excuses, I have loads, not enough time, too tired, family/partner blah blah blah. You can do whatever you want, but you have to have a good enough reason to do it.

Best of luck, I hope you really really want to lose the weight...cos if you really do want to ...you will do it!!, and you'll feel better for doing it.

Im not saying this will work for every1 but the 1st time I ever cut carbs out of my diet & started eating healthy (about 5/6 years ago now) I dropped half a stone in the 1st week & every week after that for 6 weeks I dropped 2-3lbs.As soon as I started eating carbs again I put back on 7lbs in no times so Im guessing this was water/fluid retention!

To be blunt, I'm guessing that this is for cosmetic reasons only which to be honest I reckon is kind of a waste of time/not important. Unless you are a bride that's struggling to fit into her dress, but other than that, if you wanted to lose 10 lbs you probably should have started at least a month in advance.

And it might be true, I can certainly piss 3lb in a single go, though I do have a bladder like a reservoir. If you weighed me in the pub just before "breaking the seal" which could be 4-5 pints, and then weighed me dehydrated in the morning, I could easily see 6lb difference.

Atkins induction phase is known to have great results in two weeks

Celebrity slim or Slimmm meal replacement diets for 2 weeks might get you 7lbs. You also dramatically reduce carbs so look less bloated too.
