    HI,
I was just wondering if protein would help me tone up. I don't really want to get big just more toned. Im already on the way but I have hit a wall over the last few weeks.
I weigh 71kgs and im 5'11 I got about 10% body fat. My diet is healthy with lots of lean meats and green food.
I just want to know is protein going to help me achieve my goals. I really just want to drop another % or two in body fat and tone up the muscle that I already have. I DON'T want to bulk up or get any bigger than I already am. Would protein shakes help me tone and when should I take them.
    Any advice would be appreciated

To "tone" you need to drop more body fat. To do this you need to consume less calories than you use up during the day.

How do you know you are 10%? 10% is very ripped especially for some one as yourself who is clearly a beginner in terms of training/nutrition..

I am trying to do the same by using protein.

I have a low body fat but unsure what it was as the last time I got it checked I was 17. Like if I pull down on the skin (slightly) on my abs I can see my 6 pack perfectly.

I am trying to build muscle to stretch the skin, doing high intensity sprints out on a running track lose the body fat and watching my diet.
