Good fun yesterday in Cookstown.
Events included farmers walk, viking press, deadlift,
tyre flip and atlas stones.

Very close contest eventually won by Keith Seals by
a one point margin.

that looks like a lot of fun - id love to give strongman a go in a few years

what weights were being used for the deadlift and viking press?

The deadlift got up to 280kg.
I missed the viking press, thanks to traffic crossing the border.

These guys were all under 105kg and doing events back to back
over a couple of hours.
The most suprising event I thought was the tyre flip.
Two tyres the first at 300kg the second at 400kg, or the same weight
as larger strongmen might flip during world class events.
