OK, I am really tempted to join this, as it's soo close to where I live!

Is anyone a member? What are the fees, and is there a bit of a room for haggling? :D

    Hey there

I recently rejoined simply because it's handy for me location wise. It's an ok gym, and the free weights section is never overly crowded which is what I like about it, plus they have a ladies only section also which is great. There are tons of cardio machines too so you're never left waiting for those. The pool is great too.

The main prob is the constant probs with the toilets/showers, there was an awful stink in the changing rooms on Monday because of it. Also, far as I've seen they don't have kettelballs/medicine balls/decent ankle weights/resistance bands. The instructors aren't very helpful, I get my routine from another trainer outside the gym so I've never worked on a program with them, but in general if I've been looking for a piece of equipment I've got one word answers and little help.

I'd still join again though, because it's the best of a few gyms in the area in my opinion, mainly because there's less of a waiting time of machines.

+ 1 I was a member for a year and I found the staff very unhelpful. If you know what your doing you should be grand but I was a gym newbie and found it hard to get anyone to help with some basic questions.

The whole computer system in there is great in the sense you can't cheat and say you did X amount when you didn't but you still need actual people to ask questions to from time to time. Current gym I use has a folder for you to write in and keep track of what you do so is tempting to cheat sometimes :p

    Hey again

I use it in the evenings between 6 -8. The fees aren't set in stone so be wary, I was originally qoted a joining fee of 100Euro to rejoin and 64 Eur a month on DD, I ended up paying no joining fee and a DD of 54 Euro a month.

I'm not sure on the yearly price if you pay in full, but I think there was an offer on it recently.
