On a side note mine was only going clockwise , I thought this strange. I closed my right eye and then a twitch happened in the image and it began to rotate anticlockwise. I could not make it return to clockwise by opening or shutting eyes. It may have been coincidence that this twitch occurred when I shut my right eye.

First time I looked at it I perceived it turning clockwise, then I unfocused for a few seconds (went cross-eyed) and I perceived it turning anti-clockwise. I am able to switch between the two almost at will by thinking about it turning clockwise or anti-clockwise before I focus.
