Ok i have 5kg dumbells that i got out of argos a while ago but i think its time to move to something more challenging.

i was looking at ez curl bars, are these good/ better than normal straight bars?
can anyone recomend a bar/ place to buy one?

    thanks

I'd go for the straight bar. They are more versitile than the EZ bar and often stronger.

    Ok thanks!

Could you recomend a bar online somewhere or tell me what shop to look in?

    Thanks.

Argos, there's probably one near you that'll sell you a standard barbell/bumbell combo including workout charts.

If you want you could buy a pull-up bar for yourself in the same place.
But really consider buying a weight lifting belt. My favourite one has velcro and a
    metal ring on it.

Argos have a 50KG set including a barbell and dumbell(decent quality) for €99.99

Blackie dont get a weightlifting belt. Wait a while before you get onem and NEVER get a velcro one, they are known to fail. Id reccomend building up a stable core before getting a belt.

Yeah, a lot of experienced trainers recommend not using a belt until you build up a lot of experience, core strength and are starting to get onto much heavier weights. Not using a belt at the start can be better in long run

They're probably experienced now...Or have 9 years more experience at least

Yeah, with that much experience you’d expect to have built good core strength and graduated to heavier weights 👍
