Advice/Help RE: Diet/Fitness

    Hi all, yes its another one of these threads. Just looking for some advice from the health boffins!

    I've started a fitness regieme of late to try and get rid of my spare tyre (it's not too big, more of a space saver :pac:) and gain/tone a bit of muscle.

    I'm Male, 22 years old, 5'11" and ~ 10 stone. I'm already quite lean, apart from that bit on my gut. Of course I wouldn't mind a bit more muscle!

    Fitness
    I used to play quite a bit of soccer but my hours in work didn't really suit the times so I've taken up both Judo and Muay Thai.
    Timetable as follows:

    M: Judo 6.30-8
    T: MT 8-9.15
    W: -
    TH: Judo 6.30-8
    F: MT 8-9.15
    SA: MT 1-2.30
    SU: -

    I'm only guaranteed have Tues and Fri off work however so I may not make it to all/most of these classes.

    I try to do a bit of running myself, 3 times a week (maybe an hour or so, not too intensive) and 120 (4*30) sit-ups a day

    I also have a set of dumbells but only really do a few (3 sets of 20 10KG) bicep curls before bed (I've no knowledge on weights really)

    Diet
    Just a sample of my diet to be torn to shreds :D

    Supplements:
    -Vit C + Zinc Tablet
    -Omega 3 Fish oils
    -Some effervescent multivitamin thing

    Breakfast:
    Bowl of shredded wheat with either some canderel or honey and maybe a chopped bannana

    Lunch
    Scrambled eggs (generally 1 or 2 whole eggs + 2 or 3 egg whites) with some black pepper and chilli mix

    Dinner
    Meat/Fish, Veg, Potatoes or Chicken/Beef Curry, Rice or Spaghetti, Pasta etc.

    Before bed
    Maybe 50-75g of nuts (raw cashew/almond/walnut/roasted hazel)
    Another bowl of shredded wheat the odd time.

    Snacks
    Usually a try to limit it to fruit/nuts/popcorn/rice cakes with extra light cheese spread although sometimes the lure of a bag of crisps/werthers original after work becomes too strong. I don't snack alot in general though.

    Any comments greatly appreciated

    Im sorry all i can say is that im also 5'11 and weigh 10st7lb and i look like i walked outa a concentration camp or so everyone keeps telling me. You must be fair skinny lad!!!

    You're squatting big weights aren't you?? i didn't realise your bodyweight was so light

    Very occasionally and whats heavy to me is not to you.
    Mind you my legs are stronger than anywhere upperbody!Poor me :mad:

    Haha, one of my bigger friends tells me I look like one of the people in the the Goal/Trocaire ads!

    I'm pretty slim alright, not much muscle though :o
