Pushups Help

    Need peoples help. I have a big football game sat week,and i hav been out injured the past few weeks so havent had much training. Was just wondering would doing pushups and/or situps every day until the match help me get a bit of strength?

    would your time not be better spent trying to regain your touch and match fitness?

    You're not going to see any tangible results in 2 weeks of pushups and situps

    It'll make your push ups & sit ups better, it'll marginally improve your local muscular endurance but it will it feck all for your soccer.
