Reading a bit about Ketogenic diet, it sounded dodgy when I first heard it but lot of people on bodybuilding.com swear by it and it seems to get results. What do people hear think about it? It sounds exactly like Lipotrim which I know isn't very popular here!

I did a 12 week keto diet last year, it was very very effective. You've got to live for it though otherwise you're just wasting your time.

Unless Lipotrim has large amounts of fat in it, then no it's not the same.

If done right i.e. a lot of discipline and attention to what foods and how much of them you're eating, it is very effective.

Not many people stick it out for long though.

The ketogenic diet is a high fat, adequate protein, low carbohydrate diet, primarily used to treat difficult-to-control (refractory) epilepsy in children.

    mmmm

Anybody advising to eat under 450kcal worth a day of ANY food would not be very welcome here.

OP I think you mean the atkins diet, not lipotrim. They do seem very similar.

I've been thinking of trying a super low carb diet for a little while, but I love me carbs.

+1.... nothing at all like lipotrim, tho Atkins intro phase is pretty much straight keto with carbs gradually and slowly increasing as far as I remember.
