Running the day after Squats

Bit of background - I spent much of winter months doing weights to build up lost muscle burned during triathlon season last year and also because I enjoy it ! Love squats do em all the time.

Took March thro May off on weights front and concentrated on getting mileage in 3 disciplines. Have felt that I should have been incorporating at least one weights session a week in so have been doing it since beginning of month. The sessions I do now comprise mainly 3 Leg/3 chest/3 back/3 arm routines. But I mix and match depending on what I feel might need a little more attention.

Anyway my question relates to going for runs the following day. As I am only doing this once a week I am always a little sore from the Squats. And not that I have planned it I have found myself going for a run the following day each week.(10-15K Tempo)
I am wondering could I be doing my leg muscles damage by this or could I possibly be helping to strengthen them even more. As legs are so important in my event wanted to ask the question here instead of over on A&R.

    Thanks as always for responses

I do a little running and find it very difficult running the day after squats, in my opinion I would say you are hindering the recovery from the squats thus affecting the muscle growth... now someone will dispute that but it's what I imagine happens.

What does the rest of your weeks training look like? Are you lifting on the day where you're "resting" from your tri stuff?
