All the ones I can fins on a search of the forum are UK based with a high delivery cost to IRL.
Anyone got any site recommendations for places they use?.

As a side question, anyone know any decent tasting low carb bars?

Thatnks man, already tried them, they dont include the nutrtion info on the site for nutrition connection, and irish liftings range is not really low carb.

There were some nice ones mentioned in the cheap protein snack thread. But all UK sites with min 12 sterling delivery.

    Rec a friend gave me-

    4 Scoops of protein powder
    3 scoops or porridge (uncooked)
    Some sultunas
    Pinch of cinamon
    Water (about half a cup)
    4 table spoons of honey
3 table spoons of peanut butter

Mix it all up, make into bar shapes and bake for about 10mins @ 180c.

Spot on. All nutrition info and big range. Thanks man.

Transform, I agree with the candy thing, but low carb can be damn boring sometimes. Even if some of these bars do taste like powder :)

LeggyBrunette - Sounds lovely, but high carb :) Will definitely give that a go when bringing up the carb level. Sounds both clean and tasty.

the issue with low carb protein bars are the sweeteners they have to add and usually the vegetable oil they add to make them taste ok.

I dont mind the sugar alcohols it shouldnt slow me down too much. I just need more variety as its doing my head in right now.

Tried this, they turned out ok. Eadible, more sultanas and less water (I used two cups! It wasn't mixing) should do the trick for me next time.

I've used a similar recipe in the past, except use an egg or two to bind it.

    Tastes great!
