    Hey All,

CrossFit Ireland will be hosting National Coach, Harry Leech, this Saturday from 12-3ish and we've some spots left for Boardsies.

The outline Harry mailed to me will be:
    • 15 minute introduction (the sport, myself, the goals for the session) + Q&A
    • 45 minutes Snatch exercises: Focusing on the reverse method and how you would use it to enhance skill proficiency
    • 5-10 minute break
    • 45 minute Jerk exercises: Focusing on the reverse method and how you would use it to enhance skill proficiency
    • 5-10 minute break
    • 30 minute Clean exercises: Focusing on the reverse method and how you would use it to enhance skill proficiency
    • 20-30 minute recap, focus on assistance exercises, programme organisation + Q&A

This promises to be a good day. I had the good fortune of training with Harry earlier in the month and the little tips and techniques he gave me have really improved my jerk technique, and consistency in the snatch too.

The workshop will be open to all levels. It will be good for beginners just wanting to dial in technique with the bar or PVC. For others, if we want to lift a bit heavier, I'm sure we can accomodate that as well.

The cost is €30 and if you'd like to sign up, PM me, phone 086-8151092 or email info at crossfit dot ie

    Thanks,
    Col

How many places do you have left Colm?.

This is something I'd be interested in, however I'm committed to fight in a team event on Saturday.

As this is something I could take back to the guys in the club it might be worth my while asking my coach to give me the nod.

I'd just feel sh*tty about dropping out of the team, however if I could justify it with this it might soften the blow.

I think we've about 5 or 6 places left. Few CrossFitters still undecided though so if you want a place, let me know.

Fantastic! Hope it goes well, Harry's a brilliant coach.

Just don't ask him to video anything on that stupid phone of his.

Just back from this and I wanted to post and say thanks to Harry for a great workshop. The feedback I got from people was that it was very methodical, they liked the structure, and really got a benefit out of it.

We ran just over 4 hours in total, and I can attest that some of my athlete's technique has really come on.

Took a rake of videos so I'll be editing them and posting them over the next few weeks on our site.

I'd love to hear feedback from anyone who was at it so please feel free to post or PM me.

    Thanks,
    Colm
