thigh muscles....

    i noticed in the last while that i'm not that happy with the size of my thighs. they a bit on the chubby side. i'm a nice size everywhere else. how can i resize them into a smaller size?? i thought it would be a case of having to diet but one of the girls in work said all i need to do is excersise.

    has anyone else had the same problem as me?? need to have them smaller by the nov for my graduation.

    PLEASE HELP!!!

    You need to have your thighs smaller by November? Sorry but that's laugh out loud hilarious.

    If you want to lose fat anywhere then you need proper nutrition and exercise. Don't listen to your friend.

    Getting smaller is all about the diet. You can't spot reduce.

    i'm 5ft bout 8 and a half pounds. was a size 8 for about 12 years but in the last year or two ive crept up to a size 10. yes i know it does not sound like much but my tighs have been bothering me a bit. will do a bit more research on what i should do.

    Diet is the name of the game, the exercise part is advisable but optional.

    It sounds as though you think you could go into Dunnes Stores and purchase a pair. :D


    If you exercise too much they may get more manly looking (big hefty things like!) .

    Yea, whatever exercises girls do be doing that make them get all big and muscly overnight just be picking up two pink dumbells or running 50metres, i need to get me some of that, because i'm picking up the man dumbells and run ning 5000 metres and i'm still not all that muscly! And to think, they do it all without testosterone! I feel like such a failure!!

    Got a link to these magic exercises?

    And if OP can pump 300 pounds already, doubt she'd be asking us about spot reducing her thighs!

    That's what I don't get. There was this docu on TV3 on female bodybuilders. Too many weights would mean bulking up wouldn't it.

    Have you seen a female bodybuilder up close? They are TINY. I'm not kidding. Sure, when they are cut to the max for a competition, they look muscular, but it's mostly that their muscles are so visible without a layer of fat under the skin. Without the fat that most women carry round, they are tiny and skinny. Two pints of water later, and they could pass for any skinny woman in the street. They have teeny weeny hips and no bum to speak off.

    99% of women who refuse to lift weights in case their thighs get bulky, already have thighs are that bulky from fat, not muscle.

    I read (though can't verify it) that the average female bodybuilder has 4kg of muscle more than the average women. Of course, she had about 20kg less of bodyfat.
