I have a better idea- people stop loudly boasting on a monday morning about how "lamped" they were all weekend as if pouring alcohol down their throats was some kind of major achievement. That way everybody is happy.

In this situation, you can use any past participle, or noun+"ed", and it'll sound right.

"Oh man, I was out last night and I got totally walky-talkied..."

    hi,
i love them all! I think it's so funny that there's a million ways to say the same thing... it's great when you hear a new one.
I always say hammered, but if i've bee really drunk, i say it like it's 2 different words 'ham-mered'!
That's bound to annoy someone out there...
