Thanks, I have that on in the background. :) They repeat it some time tomorrow anyway - I watched it Sunday last week 'cause of the Ireland match.

    Here's my ratings for tonight.

    1. Stacie. I love her, she's a dote, and has a fantastic voice
    2. Joe. Again, really cute, and he was pitch perfect tonight
    3. Ollie. Loved his performance, his voice and his charisma are fantastic
    4. Jamie. Great to see that side of him, he can hit those notes and be really souful
    5. Lucie. - Fell flat tonight, she was stiff as a board, and couldn't get the notes. She looked really uncomfortable.
    6. Danyl. Meh. The judges were singing their praises this week for obvious reasons, but it realy didn' stand out for me. (seriously. It took me abot 5 minutes to remember him while tying this...)
    7. John and Edward. As much as it pains me to say it...they were really entertaining tonight. But god help me if they get into the final...
    8. Rachel. Much better than last week, but was pretty boring, and she can't get the notes. This could be the end for her.
    9. Lloyd. Not as bad as I thought, but still a terrible song choice which has hurt him pretty badly.
    10. Miss FRANK. They were all over the shop tonight. Their vocals were terrible and just couldn't come together...even when they came together at the end :pac:
    11. Rikki. Terrible. Just absolutely terrible. As terrible a song choice that was, there was soo much more he could have done.

Spending alot of time with a child is not being a parent
There are some men in this situation where they have no choice. I'm sure they know the precious time they spend with their babies isn't being a proper parent but not all men would be happy in that situation. According to the paper (allegedly) this fella's mother is a doting granny and seemingly was hurt at Stacy's comments too. In saying that imo Stacey is a really talented and likeable girl. I hope she does well.

I'd pretty much agree, but I'd swap Lucie around with Jamie. I think Jamie let himself down in regards to the low parts of the song, he can do better.

Why are they all so focused on the bloody high notes. Low notes are just as important and not one of the acts is hitting them properly. They're all just hovering above where they should be. It's very irritating and was especially noticeable in Stacey's "At Last". I'm also pretty appalled that they said it was a Beyoncé song. WTF?

Anyway, John and Edward were the most enjoyable tonight. Danyl has a good voice but he is so unenjoyable because he never gets a melody going. Still hating Rikki and Joe. Olly is extremely annoying and the rest were ok.

If I was sitting next to Cheryl Cole, I'd have given her a swift elbow to the face tonight. She's a whimpering child and she gets away with too much bollox because she's pretty. That may sound bitchy but it is the truth. Whenever she fúcks up she just cries and hugs people. You're on live tv! Be a professional!

I didnt stop laughing when John and Edward were on!There the best thing about the show :)

Rachel and Jamie were my other two faves this week. I think Rachels great.

That was real cringy for John and Edward to wear what they did....
I loved Ollie tonight, he got his cheekyness from the auditions back :)

Loved Joe but I love Joe so... :D If he doesn't make the semis, final I may will...Not sure yet but its a joke. He's got the looks, hes got the talent He HAS the X factor! :D
I'm starting to like Llyod It was really unfair for him to sing that, and the chorus was just *bleh* without the high notes.
I think Rikki was fair good to even sing, he must have known he was going to sound like a tool. Cheryl is really starting to annoy me this year.
But of course J&E to go far! :D
    And stacie was good

I thought Jamie and Lloyd were brilliant. Really different

Little Stacie: Clearly a complete space cadet, nice girl, meh performance, sick of hearing that song and they called it 'a Beyonce song' - fair play.
Little Joe: Again, irritating, awful accent - Newcastle is clearly the Dundalk of the UK.
Little Ollie: Can't stand the sweaty head, fat jowls and 'cheeky Essex boy' nonsense of this apparently 'charming' tit.
Little Jamie: More 'sweaty, swollen faced, chest wielding over dramatised child hyper on fizzy drinks' nonsense.
Little Lucie: Forgettable. Which one was she?
Little Danyl: His irritating monkey like facial features and vacant grin frustrate me to a point that I manage to block out his banal singing.
Little Edward and John: Stellar performance tbh, I'd prefer if it had been an audience with 'Edward and John'.
Little Rachel: Too much blusher. Reminds me of that chick from James Bond.
Little Lloyd: Pretty but crap, actually just pretty crap.
Little Miss FRANK: 3 Bookends and no books.
Little Rikki: Weird and creepy as usual, I suspect his eyebrow may be planning on hijacking the rest of his face.

No you're not wrong, she really is adapting that mentality of taking thinly veiled jabs at the competition. I hate that kind of BS.

John and Edward were so entertaining tonight almost fell off the couch!! Stacey was brilliant again!!

Im really dissapointed with Rachal and the songs she has been given so far! I think she is definitely one of the best, very modern and now she just hasnt fitted in yet!

Little Llyod is safe in my opinion Cheryls performance is to thank for that !!

Ricki and Miss Frank to go!

First of all jus wanna say this is my first time on this and so far i think it is way better than An Fear Rua, a lot less scary anyway and not as dominated by childish politically-biased middle-aged bogger males:D So evening all :)

X Factor - love it! Lloyd, Olly and Joe [he is Cheryl's Newcastle-guy isn't he?!] gorgeous - Olly and Joe are amazing singers too!! :):) The twins are a laugh, a bit humiliating but some patriotic little place inside me is urging them to go on and win and kick their asses over there!
Tellin us we can't sing is like tellin David Beckham he can't play football!
... Maybe it is lads but not in the way ye mean!

    :):)

Lol, nice one! :D Even though I like Miss Frank, that made me laugh.

Either the twins or Ricki should go tonight. The twins doing Britney was pretty funny though. I wouldn't mind seeing Lucie or Lloyd go either - I don't get the hype about them. Both very average imo.

Was surprised with Olly - I always thought he was fairly "meh" but he was good tonight. Same with Rachel.

Next year they should just let Cheryl pick from a bunch of midgets, at least that way I could stand to hear her use the word "little" when referring to them. Honest to God, she needs to have some kids and get rid of all her dogs because she keeps picking acts that she thinks are cute and treats like dogs.

Little LLoyd, little Joe, little Diana. She's ruining this show.

I just find her so patronising considering her age. Her performance tomorrow will be interesting I'm sure.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 34 Flippyflop

I do like her not sure why think it might be the dimples!! However I do think at times she brings acts forward based on their looks. That youth worker guy she didnt bring threw to the live shows was far more talented than Llyod..

Lmao at Lloyd for crying after Joes home thing.

Who would have thought that Frank Butcher would end up with Whitney Houston.

As far as i know she is recording it earlier in the day and then miming it. I heard it on some entertainment slot on the radio.

I thought she was singing live now. Has it changed again.

Thought it was so cringey tonight though but I like more acts than usual at this stage. The only ones I can't stand are Danyl (way too cocky) and John and Edward.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 34 Flippyflop

She will definitely be miming sure wasnt Alexandra miming last weekend?? Cheryl doesnt stand a chance anyway singing before or after Whitney miming or not!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 84 ✭✭cheerio

Alexandra wasn't miming, Cheryl will have to though she can't sing at all.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 34 Flippyflop

I dont know she was fairly out of breath talking to Dermot after but her vocals a few seconds earlier were perfect!! Either way she has proved herself to be a great singer so i'm not doubting her ability to sing for a second!

OK I had no computer access during the X factor last night so here are my opinions of everyone:

They were all crap! WTF was going on last night was everyone on drugs? SO boring!
Except the twins, I couldn't stop laughing all through their performance, fair play to them. J&E to win! :pac:

Rachel or Rikki will go I think, Lloyd should go but he won't because mammies and teenage girls will think he's lovely

    Spot on... my opinion exactly!

John & Edward's performance were the one glimmer of entertainment in a drab and dreary 2 hour show!

If anyone wants to vote for John & Edward call 0044 333 666 9828 (cost 35c/min). You'll here a 15 second advert then the call is diverted to the X Factor voting line.
