I love Louis and Dannii this year :D

Cherly is coming across very unlikeable and two faced on X Factor this year

She seems a lot different than last year. Maybe it's just that last year, she was very much in her comfort zone, having the 'girls' group.

This year, it seems all about her plugging herself and her solo career.

I know you have to take these things with a few pinches of salt but after reading a few articles she isn't getting on with Simon at all, and still not really with Dannii. Apperently off camera Simon has been telling her off for different things including "Turning the X Factor into a fashion show".
And that last week after Joes performance when Simon told her to "sit up" off camera she was meant to have been furious.

How did she go from being so nice and a good judge last year to this??

Last year she was Simon's golden girl, he was probably "directing" her a lot and sending good stuff her way. Not anymore - he acts like rejected lover now. She is also trying to juggle too many balls at the same time, judging and mentoring despite not having experience for it, launching solo career not having talent for it etc. She also seems decent enough woman to be aware of it all, she probably knows it's all fluff and PR and she'll fall out of grace as soon as people get bored with her admittedly gorgeous looks.

    +1

And I love Danniiiii this year...and this is the first year I've actually liked her! Loved Cheryl last year but she annoys me this year...it's all about Ms Minogue. My boyfriend is actually getting pissed off about how often I comment on how hot Danniiiiii looks...she's my new girl crush :o

couldn't agree more - this is definitely Dannnii's year. Her comments to the contestants are far more constructive and I think she looks great this year. Fair dues to her for sticking with it after a year of being in Cheryl's shadow - Dannii is def made of tough stuff and I don't think Cheryl would have handled being second best etc like Dannii has !!

I think it's very sad how the women are played off against each other. Louis and Simon aren't compared on the same scale at all!
The girls are constantly compared in the press ; "Who wore the nicer outfit?" "Who's hotter?"
They must be under a serious amount of pressure from that, on top of trying to mentor their acts.

I like Danni this year too. I never disliked her but i found her a bit cold, i think since she stopped freezing her personality with botox she seems much warmer. She is a good judge too. I saw her on Piers Morgan last wk and she seems like a laugh. Sharon was really childish the way she carried on toward her.

Dannii Minogue is the straighest judge on the panel, she always focuses on the contestants when giving feedback rather than looking for a pissing contest with the other judges. She knows the show is not about her and I find that to be really refreshing. I guarantee you that if Dannii was in the position that Simon was last Sunday, she would have been fair on the better talent, no doubt about it.

I like Danni this year, but I'd like her even more if she (and Louis, but he's a bit of a lost cause) would stop saying such cringe-worthy things like "Go the Froooo", every time she says something like that it just makes me shudder. She can be so cool and calm and collected but then she says stuff like that and she just makes me cringe. :o

*I never say cringe in real life, but Danni's behaviour warrants the use of this word imo

RTE reporting online that the Sun said Danyl topped the poll this week,

that just couldn't be possible after that performance could it?

Tbh I am ignoring the reports on who got the most votes because it's all just speculation.

I really like Dannii this year, my list of top judges goes:

    1.Louis
    2.Dannii
    3.Simon

    ∞: Cheryl

Danyl got the most votes last week followed by Jedward who were a very close second

I agree it is all just speculation who topped the poll if we were to believe what we read Danyl and Lloyd topped the poll in weeks 1 & 2 yet were in the bottom 2 in weeks 3 & 4, very unlikely their popularity would sway that much.

If the report is true it is ridiculous i actually like Danyl thought his performances in week 1 & 3 were brilliant and possibly the best but last Saturday the pressure got to him, forgetting the words and hitting those low notes very badly.I know he said he couldn't hear the music but his whole body language told a story mind you his reaction when he got through was full of passion!

Im sure the judges will have seen the criticism of how they've ' copped out ' and are not doing their jobs when it comes to voting. What i hope doesn't happen this week is that 2 really good singers end up in the bottom 2 and just to make a point they dramatically send one of them home when i should go to deadlock!

I probably will be wrong but just got a feeling there'll be a shock in the bottom 2 this week wouldn't be suprised if it was Jamie and Danyl forcing Simon into showing his favourite. If it was those 2 Jamie could go as Louis is not a fan and as i say one of the girls may be virtually told to make a point and actually send someone home.

Lets not forget 4 weeks into the show and only once has someone been sent home without going to deadlock and that was only really because Louis wasn't there and it was always going to be 2-1. If we are truthful Simon has copped out twice cos he should have voted Kandy Rain out in week 1 but felt sorry for them cos the girls slagged off their outfits!!!!

Dan's the man with top vote - The Sun 3/10/09

Delighted Danyl Johnson staged an amazing comeback to win the public vote on Sunday, despite being in the bottom two the week before. According to figures obtained by The Sun, the teacher - mentored by Simon Cowell - bagged 35 per cent of the vote. He knocked twins Jedward into second place. Essex lad Olly Murs came third and Welsh teen Lucie Jones fourth. Jamie Archer and Stacey Solomon were fifth and sixth. Joe McElderry pipped Lloyd Daniel to escape the sing-off. The results emerged through a phoneline which allows fans to vote free if they listen to an ad. The 10,000 votes cast gave a clear picture of overall patterns.

I would be very suprised if Joe was that close to the bottom 2 but you never know with the way the public thinks and votes. Maybe he will be the suprise person in the bottom 2 this week, would love to see him and Lloyd in the bottom 2.

Obviously id like the twins to be there but cannot see them going out with that song choice credit to Louis & i've heard they'll have a little trick in their act taking the p**s out of Simon if its true no way they'll be in bottom 2!

Did you see on Xtra Factor when they were saying they didn't know the outcome of the public vote (the judges). I find that very hard to believe. I know Simon Cowell would definitely know as he's the head guy. Digital spy website sometimes has them.

Delighted Danyl finished top if this is true. Danyl and the twins for the final! :D

Very good question.Seems to me the overall and constant theme and intention is: "con the public!"

Actually...on second thought...I think Cheryl might give Joe "Unchained Melody".

She seems to be trying to turn him into Gareth Gates...

It wouldn't be too bad either...:)

So not the official votes then?

The judges said last week that only a few members of the production company know the actual figures - that they are given them after the final show.

Sure what would Dannii do if she wasn't on XFactor ?

I don't think she looks great at all.
She's a great advertisement for NOT having plastic surgery if you ask me.
She is so fake aswell with all her "Go girl" and faux excitement crap.
    I actually hate Dannii.

Anyone else hear on Spin South West (obviously only people in the south west!) that Rachel was blaming the twins for her leaving the competition??
As they have turned it into a show that has "nothing to do with singing and all about the performance".

    Oh Please.....

Just read a new article about John and Edward, it was very unfair to them and had nothing to do with anything. Just their own personal business and most likely what was said was lies.
It has put me in a bad mood.
