Boards.ie Killzone 2 clan - The Official Thread

From now on this thread will be used for all clan matters. This way if you're looking to join the clan or set up a match, you'll have a dedicated thread to post in and get a reply.

Leader: cartman91 (WarZoneBrother)
Officers: acidburn51737, WolfForager, NotorietyH and GothPunk.

On the official Killzone website you can view our clan page, and if you're logged in you can watch battle replays and view the clan messages.

At the moment we're just playing for fun so it doesn't really matter what your skill level is. If anybody wants to play some more serious matches let us know and maybe we can set up more ranked matches against other clans. It would be great if we could get a couple of games every week - be that 4v4 or a few clan squads on a public server.

Ahh bad news man, I traded it in and forgot to transfer leadership, anyways you can be the leader man and I will probably buy it back soon as I needed money so had to trade it in.

I am currently jobless so semi-professional gaming seems like a worthwhile use of my time

DirkVoodoo is my PSN ID, I haven't much experience in Killzone online, but I've played plenty of shooters over the last 10 years and I'd be up for some games.

So now that I've finished inFamous I'm back to Killzone 2

Who fancies a few games this week? I'm thinking of setting up a game tomorrow between 7 and 9, maybe a bit later if people are still around.

Right I'm going to setup a match tonight at 7. I'll send out a clan message and a PSN message. Ideally I would like to get a 4v4 going so join in if you can, even if it's just for one game.

Yep I invited you there last week. So now when you go online in Killzone 2 you can go into 'My Clan' and view messages and join any games that are running.

Yeah just add me, I'm the leader now. Then I'll add you to the clan. If you only want to play with us a little bit or want to play a few days every week is fine.

I'll try and make it on tonight for the clan game, have a buddy calling up for a bit of a PS3 session, he might want to watch Killzone multiplayer for a bit though, I'll let you know around 6:30. If you get enough people wihtout me though just work away, 'cause he already has to sit aorund for an hour while I have my drum lesson :P

Well I can always leave it til 7.30 or 8 if people are busy. Sure I'll host the match at 7 and then just mess about til people arrive. That's what I did last time and it was fun watching the match go from 1v1 to 2v2 to 3v3. I'm hoping the new members can push it up to 4v4 :pac:

Cheers, it's a bit last minute I know, I'm just home myself and I won't be on immediately. I'll keep an eye out for more pre-planned matches.

I didn't get any map packs, need to get used to the supplied ones first I think!

I'm working till 9.30pm tomorrow, so I might not get a chance if you do organise a match tomorrow. But until I start work, I'll just be playing this

Got my medic badge tonight so you're all going to be in safe hands

(Also, I have an old USB headset from the PS2 which should work if people wanted to start using them)

Yeah I think I might set up a game for those of us with the map packs, even though we might only manage a 2v2. I'm tempted to make a pistols only game or something, there are a few badges I want to get. :pac:
