I'm part of a team making a short drama film for college(4th year), and we need three male actors to play key roles in the film:
    1. A young man, aged 20 or so
    2. His father
    3. His grandfather
We are also looking for extras (of any age (18+), gender, shape or size!)
If you would like to take part, or know anyone who would fit the bill, we'd really appreciate your participation. No previous experience required, just an aptitude for character acting. We can honour you with credits and our undying gratitude!
Filming will probably be in November, and since it's a ten-minute short, the shooting shouldn't take too long. For more details see our info pack for actors available here : https://shortfilmechoes.files.wordpress.com/2015/10/echoes-info-pack-for-actors.pdf
Let me know if you are interested - there'll be a role for anyone who wants to take part.
    Thanks in advance :D

We're inviting performers and those who have never ever performed before to be part of a new theatre project by Makeshift Ensemble, a Cork based theatre company to be presented as part of the 2016 Cork Midsummer Festival. If you are originally from Congo, Belgium, Colombia/Peru, UK, Ireland you should come talk to us!

We are seeking people with strong opinions or none whatsoever, people with a passion for history, human -or even animal- rights activists, people who saw the world or never left this port!

We're looking for a mix of people with some relation to the sea with or without a performing background, people who have something to say, people interested in trying themselves in theatre and people who are just curious and looking for a new adventure.

We will bring together a group who are potentially very different, but have these things in common:

    1.) LIVE IN CORK
2.) ORIGINALLY FROM: IRELAND, UK, BELGIUM, CONGO OR PERU/COLOMBIA
3.) HAVE A CONNECTION TO THE SEA

If you're one of those people or you're just curious about the idea, then e-mail us.

As well as seeking performers we are also looking for people to help us with our research for the production, developed through conversations with people around their opinions on different matters. So if you are interested in meeting us on this basis please also get in touch.

To arrange a time for an initial informal interview on the weekend of the 13th – 15th November OR 20st – 22nd November 2015 send us your details (including place of birth, age, email, phone number) to eszter(at)makeshiftensemble.com with "Utopia Ltd" in the subject line.

If you have any further queries do not hesitate to contact us.

We are looking forward to meeting you!

Hey guys! We're a group of 4th year students in IT Tralee. As part of our FYP, we'll be making a pilot episode of a sitcom about two down-on-their luck musicians trying to make it big in small-town Kerry. We'll be auditioning for four main roles:

BRIAN (mid-twenties) - Brian has had more than his fair share of failure. With his stubborn determination, he's certain to lead the Brian and Ryan Band to fame and glory. Or so he thinks.

RYAN (late teens/early twenties) - Ryan met Brian just two months ago. Now, he's found himself roped in to beig in Brian's band. Quick to anger, Brian's attempts to tell him what to do often frustate Ryan.

[a basic level of singing/acoustic guitar playing is desired for both the roles of Brian and Ryan, but not absolutely essential.]

TOM(Late twenties/early thirties) - Tom is an educated man who's fallen on hard times. A long time friend of Brian, he turned to alcohol after a particularly messy break up. He now lives on Brian's couch and subsits of crisps and cans of lager.

DEBBIE(late teens/early twenties) - Debbie spends most of her time cloistered in her room, communicating mainly through passive agressive sticky notes left around the house. Her profession remains a myster- neither Brian, Ryan or Tom has ever seen her down at the social. When their paths do cross, she rarely has kind words for them.

The exact date/location of the auditions are TBC, but we expect it will be early December somewhere in Tralee, Co. Kerry. Anyone hoping to audition should be aware that we will be filming for an unspecified ammount of time in February/March, so some fluidity with scheduling around that time would be benefcial. Unfortunately we can't afford to pay anyone, but we will be able to cover travel expenses during filming.

If you'd like to audition, message us on facebook.com/StrungSitcom or email oscar.brophy@students.ittralee.ie with:

    - Your name
    - The role(s) you are interested in
    - Contact info
    - A short bio
    - A headshot.

    Thank's for reading!

    UNPAID - Child Actor age 4-11 (m/f)
    sf-headshot.jpg?w=474

Hi, my name is Jane. I'm looking two children ages 4-11 to star in a music video. I have no specific needs for race, gender or age. We're hoping to shoot in two days in Dublin. The dates we're looking at are between now and aug 24th. Or later in Sept, if the date cuts it too close.

The concept of the music video is about people wanting to overcome their obstables. It's about a boy who wants to be a dancer, but his dad doesn't approve of it. And about a girl who wants to be an astronaut but she's not good in school. The song is uptempo and uplifting and really want to show the innocence of childhood and the perseverance children have.

Please get in touch with a showreel + availability at janewillow@hotmail.com
You can find more of my music here:
