Is it possible , as a beginner, to have your arms too weak to work on your back? Im sticking to a proper program but my back is never sore the next day the way other muscles tend to be.
Its not like I go really easy on myself doing back excersises, by the last set im struggling like anyone else, but it feels almost like my arms cant do any more even though my back could have if ya get me.

Ive been sticking to proper form through advice from people and just looking at the form on the net, doing Tbar rows, machine seated rows, seated rows.

Am I expecting too much 'pain' maybe?

This also kind of applies to my chest but to a much lesser extent tbh. I still feel like im getting at my chest to a good degree.

you could try doing reverse flies on a bench, these wouldnt require much arm strength and might work your back more

Traps and Rear delts Cardio, as far as im concerned its a shoulder movement i dont care what anyone says!!!:P

    OP

How long are you lifting, whats your routine like and what kinda pain are you looking for!!

IMO it sounds like its not your arms that are giving up per se its your grip strength

    Im only lifting 4 weeks,

Im pretty sure its a good routine, 3 days a week,

mon: upper and lower back and biceps
    wed: calfs/quads/shoulders
    fri:chest/triceps

Its a mix of free weights and machines with cardio on the in between days

When I say Im wanting pain I just mean I want the feeling like im actually working my back. How do I improve my grip strenght?

    Thanks
