Bad Form on the deadlift

Is there any point in deadlifting or doing any type of lift with bad form?

I am in the middle of correcting my deadlift technique but was wondering do people who perform such movements with bad technique reap any benefits or are they just on the road to achieving niggling injuries and a false sense of progress?

Personally I'd rather lift lighter than lift wrong. The thing with getting form right is that you can progress safely to a higher weight and your body knows it can cope with the increase. When you lift heavy and incorrectly you stand a real chance of pulling something and injuring yourself, something I think most of us would try to avoid like the plague.

Back is rounded and I kind of pull the bar up if that makes sense, like I didnt drive through my heels.

Although im in the process of correcting it.

If by that you mean your elbow joint starts to close then you are in serious danger of tearing your bicep , as soon as you notice this happening put the bar down ASAP!!!!!
