i sat waiting for my bus on a doorstep. a young mother dressed in tight clothes, (she had the body for it but thats not the point)was pushing a pram and stopped in front of me. i looked inside the pram and the kid who was maybe 4 months old starred into my eyes. i wasnt in the best of moods but i saw great sadness in his eyes too. i couldnt smile for him, im not even sure he would have smiled back. maybe at that moment he didnt feel alone

With that spelling and punctuation you better get a good editor.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,204 ✭✭✭bug

You're projecting your own adult thoughts from the child's face and interpreting them for your own needs.

Keep repeating, babies don't think like I do. You'll start yourself on a journey to discover a) this is a crap book I'm writing about thoughts people clearly can experience on their own, or b) I can save myself from a life of manic depression.

    It's all good.

when I'm king all babies will be forced to wear sunglasses.

to stop the sad-eyed-baby syndrome, which is clearly deleterious to the humour of the nation.

We cant stomach sad eyed babies, and recessions, in the one year.

eh, no not really. im not writing a book, i had a strange experience today. ive seen plenty of babies in my lifetime. smilling, crying, blank faces and all the in betweens. tonite was different.

i suggest u start with a beginners guide to psychology before you start moving on to the more complicated stuff.

For the love of the English language it should be 'sadness in a baby's eyes'....

I like this thread it's as funny as anything you'll find on tv
