With all the Ronaldo stuff, I just thought, who, in order of :eek:ness would you hate to see leave your club? I put in the 'for football reasons' because i don't want the 'I just think he's a tw@t' response. For Man U fans, I'd like you to include Ronaldo in your reckoning. As a neutral, I'll just pick the top 4 and Barca to start the ball rolling.

    Man U:
    1. Wayne Rooney
    2. Ronaldo
    3. Vidic

    Liverpool:
    1. Gerrard
    2. Torres
    3. Alonso

    Chelsea:
    1. Essien
    2. Lampard
    3. Terry

    Arsenal
    1. Fabregas
    2. Van Persie
    3. Arshavin

    Barca:
    1. Xavi
    2. Messi
    3. Iniesta

So thats me casting them in order of :eek:ness :) So what do you reckon. What players leaving would make you go, 'Nooooooooo'.

then I could probably live with others leaving. Those two players are the core though.

    1 Ronaldo
    2 Ronaldo
    3 Ronaldo

    And seriously

    1 Rooney
    2 Rio
3 Carrick - his passing against weaker opposition is worth so many points each season

    3. Ronaldo

I think we can live without Ronaldo, but Rooney and Rio would be so tough to replace.

    1. Young
    2. Petrov
    3. Carew

    1. Fabregas
    2. Arshavin

There is no 3. Anybody else in the Arsenal squad is replaceable. Funny how one of the two irreplaceable players in the squad has been there less than 6 months.

i'd be shocked if the top 2 for any Liverpool fan were not those 2. the order will be the only thing to vary.

It's not very likely they will still be there next year, even if there'll be a Valencia left :(

    Pirlo
    Nesta

    Now...

    Pirlo
    Nesta
    Gattauso

    Arsenal... same as everyone else,
    Cesc and Arshavin.

Walcott would be my next on the list I think, his pace can be a real danger, although he's far from irreplaceable.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,213 ✭✭✭✭therecklessone

    1. Palacios
    2. Palacios
    3. Palacios

The rest are all replaceable, but we've waited long enough for somebody who could break up play (and a leg or two) in the middle of the park, I'm not giving him up without a fight.

    1. Young
    2. Carew
    3. Petrov

    Pienaar

    Del Piero
    Buffon
    Cannavaro

    Cannavaro :eek::eek::eek:

You think he's Juve's third most important player?

    I'd say:
    Del Piero
    Sissoko
    Chiellini

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,478 ✭✭✭Bubs101

    Chelsea:
    Essien
    Lampard
    Ashley Cole

Think Alex wouldn't be that much of a step down from the Terry we have now

    Juve:
    Buffon
    Chiellini
    Del Piero

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,005 ✭✭✭CorkMan

    Casillas
    Ramos (spose')

For number 3, Cannavaro is gone, Raul past it, most others have been mediocre TBH. Lets say Ronaldo :P

    Casillas
    Ramos
    Ronaldo ;)

    For Villa I'd say

    1. Young

Nobody else is irreplaceable. Laursen would have been no. 1 before he left.
For the sake of picking 2 more:

    2. Carew
    3. Petrov

    1. Murphy
    2. Deegan
    3. Byrne

    For Manchester United

    1. Rooney
    2. Rooney
    3. Rooney

Yeah, Chiellini has to be ahead of Cannavaro. But no Buffon?

    Buffon
    Chiellini
    Nedved:(
OK, Nedved is gone, but number 3 would be Giovinco, not Del Piero. Del Piero has 2 years at most left while Giovinco is only 22.

Deano, Bisto and McAllister are our most important players.
