I'm hoping an archaeologist, explorer, owner of factory, revolutionary leader comes up in Q4

Anyone have any that are likely to come up in the HL history ? :P

I am dreading this exam. I got an a in the mock, but I didn't really study that much thereafter, which was really stupid... I'm hoping that a question on an ancient civilisation outside of ireland comes up or the celts...

i think an ancient person in rome is gona come up and a sailor for q4... and for q5 plantations and industrial revolution.....:D

Same except I was 2% off in the mock. If tommorow if really hard then I'm fooooked man.

I have a feeling we'll get revolutionary leaders somewhere because I don't think it's come up in the last few years.

im a complete thick in history so excuse me if this question is ridiculous but wasnt it the 65th anniversary or somthin of D-Day ther last week or the weekend or somthin?
would that make it more likely to come up?? need any help i can get:(

Actually that's a good point but WW2 comes up pretty much every year in Q6.

got 40 percent in the mocks doing higher level planning on dropping down tomorrow if the examiner lets me ,

have no plans on doing history after 3rd year anywho

Not gonna bother learning off any World War stuff or politicial stuf..

Only gonna prepare essays for the people in history..
Thats what I did for the mocks and it got me a B!..
We have a choice on the world war stuff anyways and the irish politicail stuff so why bother unless you are serious about taking up history for he leaving? I just wanna see a pass on my results for the JC... :cool:

Our history teacher is kickass looking back on it now. Was our tutor for the last 3 years too.
She gave us a people in history question to do every week and it was kept in a folder. Done every people in history question atleast 3 times.
History is just put down anything you know about the thing your asked. The exam is long and tedious like english but the questions arent that bad tbh.
Im more worried of french.

I got 93% in my mocks. Its not that big a deal really. Your either one of 3

1. Lazy, Call anyone who bothers a nerd/dork
2. Unable to do better but are trying their best
3. Doing your very best


Usually people who speak txtspk fit into number 1.

I'm taking a bit of a gamble and skipping a good chunk of Irish history and just learning about Cumann Na Gael and DeVelera in power. Cumann Na Gael last came up in 2004. If I can do the Irish history, and the International Relations questions, I'll in with a sweet chance to get an A.

I studied history for an entire week last month (favourite subject) so im taking it easy today.

Im a joke at french so basically all day Im between reading french letters and posting here.
Only 1 more day for me after tomorrow.

As someone who has corrected History, PLEASE remember to do all the questions you are supposed to. The main reason people fail or do badly in History is because they leave out questions or parts of questions.

Its not that hard, I got 100% in a business christmas test once. Work a bit and you will get good results.

Im a she and i just made notes, and i guess answers most of the time.

Someone in my class got 100% like, and practically eveyone got an A...our teacher is class..they did mark it easy though.
